Who I work with
Therapy for entrepreneurs and founders
You've built something that runs on your judgment, and lately your judgment is the part you trust least. The business gets the steadiest version of you, and whatever is left over is what comes home.
You might recognize
Some of this may sound familiar
- You can make a hard call about the company in an hour and sit with a personal one for months.
- Every quiet week feels like the setup for something going wrong.
- You've read everything written about burnout and you still can't put the thing down.
- Your name and the company's name have started to mean the same thing to you.
In the work
What we actually do
After the plateau
Many of the people I work with have already done therapy, got somewhere real, and then flattened out. Understanding a survival response and having that response stand down turn out to be two separate events. We work at the level where the response actually lives instead of describing it again from above. Therapy outcomes are not guaranteed.
Decisions and what drives them
Under enough pressure, a call about hiring or money can quietly turn into a call about whether you're allowed to fail in front of people. In session we take that apart and look at what's underneath the urgency. Not to make you more cautious — so that more of what is driving the call can be visible to you while you're making it.
Coaching is a separate track
Separately from therapy, I also offer coaching, which is a non-clinical service: twelve 50-minute video sessions plus one 6-hour intensive across three months, one-to-one. Coaching is not therapy and is not licensed mental-health treatment. It is offered more widely than New York State. Price is discussed on an introductory call.
“If you've ever felt like you understand your issues but can't seem to change them, that difference matters.”

FAQ
Questions people ask
I travel constantly. Does that work?
Weekly therapy takes place via telehealth. I am licensed in New York and can only offer psychotherapy services to people who reside in New York State, and you need to be physically in New York State for each session. A session dialed in from another state isn't something I can do.
What happens when a week blows up?
Sessions are 50 minutes, usually weekly. I ask for 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule, and without it the full fee applies. That policy exists partly so the hour stays yours instead of becoming the first thing traded away.
Is this business coaching?
No. Therapy with me is clinical work, individual, and licensed in New York. Coaching is the separate non-clinical track — twelve 50-minute sessions plus a 6-hour intensive across three months — and it is not mental-health treatment.
How does payment work?
$235 per 50-minute session. I'm out of network with all insurance plans, there's no sliding scale, and I provide a monthly superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement, which is never guaranteed. A Good Faith Estimate is available on request.
What if things get bad between sessions?
If you are in danger right now, call or text 988 or dial 911. This site isn't a crisis service and email is not monitored for emergencies.
