Specialties
The places this work goes
Seven areas I focus on. They overlap constantly — most people arrive somewhere in the middle of two or three of them.
Specialty areas
- 01Complex trauma and C-PTSDFor adults carrying the long, patterned kind of trauma — hypervigilance, shutdown, and a nervous system that never fully stood down.
- 02Attachment and relationshipsFor people who love hard and brace harder: anxious pursuit, avoidant retreat, and the ache of never quite being met.
- 03Religious trauma and high-demand group recoveryFor people leaving or recovering from high-demand religions — including ex-Mormon and ex-LDS experience — and rebuilding a self of their own.
- 04Narcissistic abuse and coercive controlFor people rebuilding after a controlling relationship — with a partner, a parent, a boss, or a group.
- 05Love addiction and sex addiction recoveryFor people caught in compulsive romantic or sexual patterns who want resolution rather than another round of shame.
- 06Breakup and divorce recoveryFor the specific disorientation of a breakup or divorce, especially when it reopens pain from previous losses.
- 07Anxiety and depressionFor high-functioning adults whose anxiety or flatness has become the background hum of an otherwise capable life.
Honesty first
Who I’m not the right fit for
I don’t work with eating disorders, psychosis, OCD, bipolar disorder, autism or ADHD as a focus of treatment. Those areas deserve clinicians who specialize in them, and I’m not one.
If you reach out and this is what you need, I’ll say so directly in the consultation rather than starting work that isn’t right.
I also can’t provide crisis services. In a crisis or emergency, call or text 988 or dial 911.
